KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-Cities Fever had their fifth new starting quarterback but would Colin Drafts behind center mean a win against Stockton.
Drafts was pretty much amazing in the first half and he was 27 for 36 on the game. He had 5 touchdown passes as the Fever took out the Stockton Lightning 42-35 for their 2nd win of the season.
Both Fever wins this year have come over the Lightning.
"I'm happy for our guys," said Fever Head Coach Pat O'Hara. "Our guys have worked so hard this season, the guys that have been here from day one, it's been really tough on them. So, I am happy for them."
"It gives us the confidence boost and we feel like we have the right guys, the right chemistry, to win the rest of our games this season," said Fever Receiver Tommy Devereaux.
"It's lovely man," said Fever Cornerback Jamie Hattley. "We feel like we got the monkey off our back. We've been playing hard and practicing hard for a while and it finally paid off."
The Fever have the week off before taking on Boise on Saturday, June 11th.
