PARKER HEIGHTS, Wash. - A local couple is now $100,000 richer after winning Washington State's Hit-5 Lottery.

Ronny and Constance Hunt found out Tuesday morning they were going to take home some extra money that day.  They are both retired but work on their daughter's organic fruit ranch.

Constance says it started to hit her within an hour after learning her husband had the winning ticket.

"When the young lady at the window showed us, after she ran the ticket and turned around and said, 'you have 100 thousand dollars, it really settles in," sha said.

The Hunts will put the money toward supporting their social security and paying medical expenses.

Ronny Hunt has won lottery prizes before but his highest payout until now was $270.
