Richland, WA- WSU Tri-Cities celebrates its 20th anniversary tomorrow.
The campus has sent invitations to five thousand alum and supporters, but chancellor Vicky Carwein says the entire community is invited to join the celebration, because she says it was the community that fought for the designation of the Tri-Cities campus.
"It was also the community that advocated for it to expand to a four year institution, and so this is our way to thank you for the community support. "
The anniversary starts tomorrow morning with a pancake breakfast, followed by a carnival, and seminars on wine tasting and bio-energy.
Current and future students can also enter a drawing to win one of eight 500-dollar scholarships.
