Kennewick Man Charged With Arson, Leaves Questions
KENNEWICK, Wash.-- A Kennewick man is behind bars, after police say he started a fire inside his apartment. Now he's facing arson charges.
Kennewick police say they got a 9-1-1 call about an apartment complex fire on north Perry street around ten this morning. But here's the catch- the caller, 21-year-old Christopher Dupre says he was the one who started the blaze.
Officers showed up and put out the flames, in total there was minor damage to the apartment. Dupre is facing first degree arson charges.Neighbors had to evacuate while police and fire crews put out the fire. Nobody was injured, and nearby apartments weren't damaged.
