Workers spent the day at Columbia Park tidying up after boat race weekend.
Among the workers tearing down scaffolding and picking up dumpsters along the river shore, some treasure hunters.
Wayne Porter of Kennewick walked the length of the park with a metal detector, hoping to scoop-up some loose change left behind. "I only found about 15 or 20 coins, but I found them in the first twenty minutes, so I was pretty fortunate there. Hopefully I'll find that five thousand-dollar diamond ring."
Water Follies says it will take about 100 volunteers about two days to finish the job of cleaning up Columbia Park.
