Kennewick, WA- Hundreds of families and farmers will be without irrigation water for at least another two days.
Bulldozers today ripped out the concrete from a stretch of the main canal off Clodfelter Road.
The canal sprung a leak yesterday.
Ditch workers discovered the leak after homeowners along Badger Road noticed water running through their backyards.
The Kennewick Irrigation District put those families up in hotels overnight as a precaution while workers drained the canal.
KID says it could take a week or more to finish repairs and get water back into the canal.
