KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Kennewick Babe Ruth All-Stars are in the midst of another march to (hopefully) another World Series. After losing the World Series final by one run last year, this year's group has already advanced to the regional level. These 13-year-olds leave for Bozeman Friday morning at 4:00 a.m., with the first game Saturday. Five of these sluggers were on the team last year, and the new guys are pumped up as well. "I'm really excited," said first baseman Hayden Burris. "It's going to be fun. This is going to be my first ever time going to this and the guys are really excited to go." "It's nerve racking, but after that first at bat or that first pitch it calms down and your just playing baseball again," said shortstop/pitcher Clayten Ayres. "It's not surprising," said coach Lenny Ayres. "It's just a great group of kids. Great baseball players, great parents, great community. I couldn't ask for much more as a coach."
