ELGIN, Oregon. - A man suspected of killing an Oregon woman is found in Western Washington.
The capture of 42-year-old Gregory Cook comes just days after authorities found the bodies of two more victims.
Saturday, August 1st, Union County Oregon Sheriff's Deputies discovered the remains of two additional victims near Elgin which is just East of Pendleton.
Authorities believe all three murders are connected.
On July 24th, officers in Union County found a severed hand in a lake near Elgin that belonged to 51-year-old Shannon McKillop, who's body was also found some distance away.
The investigation took a turn when investigators found the remains of two additional victims in a secluded area north of Elgin last Saturday.
The remains are believed to be those of 50-year-old Frank Scaramuzzi and 28-year-old Jeremiah Johnston, both from Elgin.
All were known to police, and it's believed all knew each other as well.
