MOXEE, Wash. -- A tower of smoke high in the air in Moxee could be seen from as far as Yakima Monday afternoon.

Fire crews from all across the Yakima Valley were called to a two-alarm fire shortly after 11am. The fire was at a large commercial industrial building located on the 200 block of West Charron Road.

The site is owned by Kronos. One of the renters is Moxee Innovations Corporation. Four of the company's employees were inside when a passer-by told them what was happening.

Debbie Hill, Moxee Innovations Corp. said, "I got up and I kind of saw the dust go by the window. And then he comes in the door really fast and says 'you guys are on fire, you need to get out."

None of the four employees were injured and workers say no one else was inside.

A spokesperson with East Valley Fire District Four says one EV firefighter was sent to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital for heat exhaustion.

East Valley Fire will be investigating the cause of the fire.
