RICHLAND, Wash. - Some congressional staff members are in town for Energy Secretary Stephen Chu's visit.

Many of them will take a Hanford tour with Chu Tuesday to learn more about it's history and current operations.

On Monday staff members were scheduled to pile into a 1954 GM Motor Coach for a quick trip from the Hampton Inn in Richland to the Tri-Dec offices in Kennewick for a barbeque.

CREHST Museum Director Ellen Low hopes they'll go back in time, and feel a little of what Hanford workers experienced.

"It's a 12/50 air conditioning. That's 12 windows down at 50 miles an hour. We'll give them some hand fans," said CREHST Museum Director Ellen Low.

Tuesday staff members will board a modern charter bus with air conditioning for the 5 hour tour of Hanford.

The 1954 bus will now be a permanent exhibit at the CREHST museum.
