Pancake breakfast raises money for blindness center

Posted: Updated:
RICHLAND, Wash.--  Fluffy pancakes and sizzling sausage- and it was all for a good cause.

This morning at the Applebees in Richland, about 75 people attended a pancake breakfast for the Edith Bishel Center for the Blind.

The breakfast raised over five hundred dollars for the center. The center helps people who are starting to lose their sight.

The center helps people in six counties in eastern Washington including Benton and Franklin counties. They just started service in Klickitat county this past July.
