KENNEWICK, Wash. - The United Way of Benton and Franklin counties need your help. Over 200 area leaders are working together to identify the most serious problems facing our community. It's all a part of the Community Solutions program.
Their first initiative was "Our Babies Can't Wait" and now they are looking for the next big issue affecting our community. The United Way is asking people to go online to complete a survey regarding these issues. Beverly weber, President and CEO of the United Way of Benton-Franklin Counties, said, "Once we get responses from the community our Blue Ribbon advisers and our team members will take a look at all the feedback from the community. Then they'll use that to identify the next initiative."
The survey is available in English and in Spanish and will be online till September 11, 2009.
