YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima County Sheriff's detectives believe they've found the site where thousands of counterfeit DVD's had been produced, and later sold at flea markets.
Sheriff's detectives seized nearly 10,000 counterfeit DVD's and over 21,000 plastic cases at a home in the 500 block of S. 12 St. in Yakima Monday. Four vehicles, including a cargo van were also recovered from the home.
Deputy Stew Graham with the Yakima Sheriff's Office said, "I think the suspect has been identified through the most basic research involving registration of vehicles and who lives in the home."
Detectives recovered more than 18,000 DVD's in Toppenish back on Memorial day. So far, no arrests have been made.
