MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) - Five adults and five children from two families all escaped from a burning home on the Tulalip Reservation.
Rescuers dragged one man out a window Friday morning. He was treated at a hospital for inhaling smoke.
The residents awoke to the sound of crackling flames about 5 a.m. and the mobile home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. An explosion, possible from an oxygen bottle, blew apart part of the house.
Marysville Fire Marshal Tom Maloney estimated damage to the home and three vehicles at $100,000.
One occupant said the fire apparently started on the front porch.
