Canyon View Elementary moving into temporary building
KENNEWICK, Wash-- Canyon View Elementary is getting a facelift as part of a school bond that passed earlier this year. Students will go to the Fruitland building as an alternative.
But aside from a small field, there's no real structured playground. And thats a problem for some parents.
The school district says the kids will play on a parking lot, but they will be making minor improvements like adding a tether ball pole. As for safety, we're told traffic won't be allowed in and out of the parking lot and teachers will keep a close eye on anyone that shouldn't be there.
