BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) - A development has been reported in the search for a baby boy north of Bellingham.
Whatcom County sheriff's officers won't say what they have learned about 10-month-old Jon "Cecil" Anthony Frazier before a news Sunday evening.
A massive search effort began Friday morning after he vanished from his parents' doublewide trailer east of Custer.
Sheriff's Deputy Jeff Parks says 42-year-old Jonathan V. Frazier put his son to bed Thursday night and got up later to give him a bottle of milk. Frazier told detectives he woke up Friday to find the child gone and the trailer door open, but nothing else was amiss.
Frazier's 26-year-old wife, Brooke K. Johnson, the baby's mother, was jailed Thursday after being sentenced to prison for robbery. Details of that case have not been available.
