YAKIMA--The Hot Shots 3-on-3 basketball tournament ended Sunday, and the winners were Yakima businesses.

A record 320 teams with nearly 1300 players hooped it up in downtown Yakima this weekend.

Roughly 4,000 more people show up to support their teams.

The Yakima Farmer's Market put their hot food stands closest to the fans and it paid off.

"People are looking for certain types of food and we've got a good variety of food," Farmer's Market head Don Eastridge said.  "It's been really successful over there we got good traffic over there, it's probably one of our top three weekends of the year."

Other businesses KNDO talked to say this is one of their best weekends as well.

Local hotels also do well, booking about 120 rooms for the weekend.

The Yakima Valley Sports Commission estimates Hot Shots brings in tens of thousands of dollars to Yakima's economy.
