PULLMAN, Wash. - The second purported victim of an assult at Washington State University has recanted. Washington State University police said that means both victims in the three reported assaults have now recanted.
One victim reported two assaults to police, then recanted them both last week. On Monday, the purported victim of an assault on Aug. 24 recanted during an interview with WSU police.
A $5,000 reward contributed by school President Elson S. Floyd from his own funds as a reward for information will remain in a campus safety fund administered by WSU Police and the Womens Resource Center.
