PROSSER, Wash. - Benton County Sheriff's Deputies find hundreds of pounds of marijuana, but this case was unique from most pot busts.
Tuesday, deputies got an anonumous tip about illegal activity on North Missimer Road in Prosser. When they got there, the homeowner, Jose Luis Cardenas-Ramos took plice to a large shop.
There, police found three Hispanic males processing marijuana. Captain Steve Keane said, "We don't usually run across situations like this, where we find a processing or marijuana being processed, so it's a little bit different for us."
Deputies arrested the three suspects and the homeowner, but one suspect ran and got away, even though he was handcuffed.
The other two suspects arrested are identified as Francisco Luna Castaneda and Manual Diaz Urcino. All three were booked in the Benton County Jail.
The street value of the marijuana was vallued at up to $400,00.
