Police suspect meth may have started a fire in Pasco
PASCO, Wash. - One man is behind bars Sunday night and one woman is the hospital after a fire that police say may have started from making meth in Pasco.
Pasco police tell us two people showed up at Kadlec Medical Center with burns. The woman, 48-year old Melanie Stickley, had to be transferred to Harborview Medical center in seattle. The man, 38-year old Brice Rodgers, left Kadlec with only minor injures.
Police say their investigation led them back to Sandy Heights RV park in Pasco where they found Rogers and the remnants of a fire in an RV.
Officers suspect a meth lab started the fire, and think Rogers had enough time to dismantle it before police showed up. He was arrested on outstanding warrants and possession of meth.
