SELAH--Hundreds headed to the Covenant Church Sunday morning to hear a stirring performance by the Ugandan Orphans Choir.
The choir performed two shows, singing, dancing and playing instruments.
Many of these children lost their parents to the AIDS virus. Now, they're in America, trying to raise money for other children in their home country.
"They're so willing to help out and they're so polite and friendly," Kari Hannon said. She's hosting part of the group for the next few days. "Yet, they're orphans and you know that they've lost a lot. There's hardship in their past."
More than 300 people took in Sunday's two performances.
Their next concert is Tuesday night at Kennewick's Seventh Day Adventist Church.
