PASCO, Wash. - In a developing story, dozens of protesters were at the Pasco School District today. The Pasco educators were rallying off of Clark and 12th Avenue asking for work contracts. Michelle Jenner, Uniserve staff person of Pasco, says the teachers have been working for three weeks without a contract and are ready for some movement.
"We are hoping there will be some movement today and some of our proposals will be recognized by the district and we can move forward," says Jenner. The educators have given the Pasco School District a deadline of September 30.
