RICHLAND, Wash-- Health care town halls have been popping up all over the country, and now they're coming to the Tri-Cities.
We met with state representatives Larry Haler and Doug Ericksen as they were gearing up for Thursday's town hall. Both oppose the president's public option proposal, and hope you'll show up and voice your opinion.
"The thing that's not true is if you don't support the federal plan, it doesn't mean you're against reform," says Ericksen. "It means you're in favor of different types of reform. And we're going to give the people of the tri-cities a chance to support something that fixes the system."
The legislators will be outlining a 10-step reform program that they say will help cut costs. If you want to go to the meeting, it's from 7-9 p.m. at the Richland School District's Administration Building on Snow Avenue.
