Cougs Enjoy 1st Win

Posted: Updated:
PULLMAN, Wash. -- With the Huskies big upset over USC, the Washington State Cougars have an even more difficult task on their hands when they face the Trojans on Saturday down in LA.

The Cougs, coming off their dramatic overtime win over Southern Methodist, will face a hungry USC team that will be eager to get that Husky upset out of their minds.

The Cougs, though, are happy to have their 1st win.

"It just feels so good," said Cougs Linebacker Myron Beck. "We've worked so hard from January until now and it pays off and it feels real great."

"It feels to good especially with the strides I think we've made this year as a team," said Cougar Receiver Jard Karstetter. "It just feels better and it's felt better all year but you always want to win so it was just great to get a win."
