KENNEWICK, Wash. (AP) - Kennewick doctor John C. Perry says he'll fight charges of unprofessional conduct.
His lawyer, R. Bruce Johnston, expects Perry will be exonerated at a hearing before the Medical Quality Assurance Commission.
The OB-GYN doctor is accused of violating standards of care for six patients and performing surgery on a woman with whom he was having a romantic relationship. His license to practice is still active.
State Health Department spokesman Gordon MacCracken says the charges may be considered at a hearing in March.
