Tuel is New WSU Starter

PULLMAN, Wash. -- Not since Drew Bledsoe played against Oregon State midway through the 1990 season has a true freshman started at quarterback for Washington State.

That will all change this weekend. Head coach Paul Wulff has named Jeff Tuel as the starting QB for Saturday's game at Autzen Stadium against #16 oregon.

Tuel made his collegiate debut in last weekend's loss at USC, completing 14-of-22 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown.
