KID Closing in on New Manager

Posted: Updated:

Kennewick, WA- The Kennewick Irrigation District could have a new manager before the canals go dry for the winter.

The KID board today interviewed its third and final candidate for the job.

The candidates, all from outside the area, are vying to replace Doug Grover who the board fired in March.

Board members haven't said why they fired Grover, only saying he was the unable to manage and lead.

Grover had been KID manager for two years.

KID planner Scott Revell has been serving as interim manager while the board searches for a permanent manager.
