PROSSER, Wash. - It was all smiles today at Vintners Village in Prosser as the site welcomed its 13th and final winery.
Co-owner of the new Gamache Vintners, Roger Gamache, says he feels he has a very unique establishment.
"We're very proud of what we're doing here, very proud. This is truly what were trying to accomplish here is to showcase the fruit. The wine should showcase these vineyards; and that's the whole direction and vision of why we even started this project," said Gamache.
The completion of Gamache Vintners puts Vintners Village at its capacity and also marks the end of the first stage of a two part project. The second stage will consist of 17 acres of winery related businesses such as artisian cheese and bread shops located behind Vintners Village.
Gamache Vintners has 185 acres of grapes and offers several different varieties for any pallete to enjoy.
