PASCO, Wash.-- Companies from all over the northwest showed off their products Thursday at the 2009 Gesa Smartmap Expo. Many manufacturing groups had booths and interactive demonstrations set up.
The expo was all day Thursday at TRAC in Pasco. It's the 7th annual Smartmap Expo. This year's was bigger than ever. More than 120 vendors were set up, with more wanting space if any became available. Some companies included, FLIR Systems (which makes thermal imaging cameras), Peak Solutions (which makes a range of technologies dealing with product prototype models), or Richland-based Plastic Injection Molding, Inc. (which makes plastic parts for a variety of different items).
The main goal of the expo was for people to network. There were also educational seminars for businesses and employees to learn more about the manufacturing industry.
