SEATTLE, Washington -- The Seattle Times called it "unbelievable" and you can't argue, the Huskies scored 15 points in 18 seconds to turn a 12-point deficit into an unlikely win.
Nick Foles 4th quarter pass bounced off Delashaun Deans shoe and into the waiting arms of Washington's Mason Foster. Foster returned the ball for the game-winning touchdown as the Dawgs stunned the Arizona Wildcats 36 to 33.
Huskies coach Steve Sarkisian says his team won this game not by luck but by seizing the opportunity.
"If we're not playing real well, if we're not doing things right, that ball could bounce off that kid's foot and fall incomplete and there's a big 'oooh,'" said Husky Head Coach Steve Sarkisian. "Well, when you're doing things right and you're playing with great effort and you believe you are going to make plays. I believe that's why you are in the place to make those plays to score those touchdowns, to convert 3rd downs, to score when you need to on the last drive of a half for a game and I think that's continually showing up for us here."
