Ballots for November election are in the mail

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash.--  The November election is less than three weeks away and ballots are in the mail.  Franklin County sent theirs out yesterday, and Benton County's went out today.  They should arrive at your house by the end of this week, or early next week.

This election includes two state measures: Initiative 1033, which is an effort to cap government revenue, Referendum 71, which will decide whether to approve the domestic partnership benefits act.  There are also a number of local positions you can vote on.

Ballots must be postmarked by November 3rd or put in a drop box by 8:00 p.m. that same day.
