KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Another trial began today for Pasco native Naveed Haq.
Haq is accused of the murder of a woman at the Jewish Federation offices in Seattle three years ago.
Haq's first trial ended with a hung jury last year. His plea of not guilty by reason of insantiy is in focus in this new trial. His attorneys fear the jury may be swayed after the recent escape of Philip Paul.
Paul is the Eastern State Hospital patient who walked away from the Spokane County fair last month.
Both King County prosecutors and Haq's defense team declined to comment.
