YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima police are looking for another suspect involved in a drive-by shooting this afternoon.
It happened just before 3pm Wednesday at a carwash on 4th and Walnut, right next to Davis High School.
One man was shot in the chest and was hospitalized. Police say the victim was talking and walking right before being taken to the hospital.
Police say three suspects took off in a white vehicle. They believe the suspects are gang members because of their clothing and what they said to each other.
Captain Greg Copeland with the Yakima Police Department said, "It's about the worst time and place for a shooting to occur. There are dozens and dozens of kids that walk along Walnut to and from school right at 3 o'clock. It's a busy busy time with a lot of people in the area."
