Shop at the Richland Farmer's Market all year long, online!
RICHLAND, Wash.-- The Richland Farmer's market is closed, but you can still shop there, online!
"The Parkway" is a new website featuring many local vendors who set up every week during the summer in downtown Richland's parkway.
Both customers and vendors are excited about it. Customers can get fresh, local products all year long. Products include beef, honey, chocolates, eggs, and even art. (However, if you want to buy produce, it has to something that's in season.) Vendors say it'll help their business year-round, even during the sometimes slow winter months. Tammy Mallon, of Tam-n-Tam's Beef, which uses the site to sell their choice cuts, says, "This way they can just have the freedom of ordering with a credit card and have access to other products that aren't available when the farmer's market is closed."
Customers can get some of the products delivered right to their door or pick up the fresh, perishable goods every Friday in Richland.
