SUNNYSIDE, Wash. -- Two people are behind bars for suspected car theft. Sunnyside police say over the weekend, they got a call about theft from a motor vehicle in the 3400 block of Picard Place.

The caller said several items were stolen from a 1993 Honda Civic. The victim was able to get a description of the suspect's vehicle. Police used the vehicle description to track down a 17-year-old female and an 18-year-old male, Ricardo Isquierdo.

Both suspects were taken into custody after police found five car stereos, CDs, and various other burglary tools and car accessories. The stereo and other items stolen from the Honda Civic were returned to the victim.

Isquierdo and the other suspect (name is not being released because she is a juvenile) were transported to the Sunnyside City Jail for multiple counts of 3rd degree theft, 2nd degree vehicle prowl, 3rd degree possession of stolen property and more.
