KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The H1N1 vaccine is available for a limited time, to high-risk groups. The health district anticipated Friday as the day the would receive the supply.
The Walgreens in Kennewick off of 395 got about 500 to start with.
Other pharmacies we called either had no plans to carry the vaccine, were waiting to follow proper protocol before giving out doses or plan to have clinics next week.
The health district is still expected to post a list of stocked pharmacies sometime soon, but it's important to remember these vaccines are only for those at risk communities like pregnant women, those with underlying health conditions and people 24-year-old or younger.
