HARRAH--Four fatal accidents on the roadways of the Lower Valley in the past eight days.  This time, a fatal accident at the intersection of Evans and Harrah Roads in Harrah takes the life of a 75-year-old man.

Troopers suspect drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.

Troopers say Theron Feil of Harrah was driving south down Harrah Road around 10:15 a.m. Saturday, when Sarah White of Zillah, who was heading west on Evans Road, drove through a stop sign and t-boned Feil's silver Mercury.

Feil died at the scene.

Troopers believe White had been drinking.

"This is the tragedy of DUI, this is the outcome of driving while intoxicated," Sgt. Jeff Closner, Washington State Patrol, said.  "It's an unfortunate reality, but these things happen when people decide to climb behind the wheel when they're intoxicated."

The 35-year-old White was treated and released for minor injuries.

One passenger in White's car is in satisfactory condition at Memorial Hospital.  Another passenger was treated and released.

Feil was driving alone.

All four were wearing seatbelts.  Troopers haven't announced any charges yet.

The incident remains under investigation.
