WEST VALLEY--Yakima sheriff's deputies arrest a 39-year-old man breaking into the old West Valley High School.
The building is being renovated for its eventual transformation into a school for 9th-grade students. A Yakima County Sheriff's Office release said it has been a target for thieves in recent weeks.
Deputies say a private security company caught the suspect inside the school around 3:00 a.m. Sunday.
The suspect's name has not been released, but deputies say he is from Yakima.
He was booked into jail and faces burglary charges.
