RICHLAND, Wash.-- The city of Richland is looking at plans for a sprawling eco-friendly residential area south of badger mountain.
The area right off I-82 could eventually add five thousand new homes, new schools and shopping.
Developers want to make this new community green, with homes powered by solar energy.
First the city has to look at the proposal before they give it to you for public comments.
The city council could vote on the plans sometime in the middle of next year.
