There is one certainty in sports, if the other team doesn't score, you cannot lose. A big part in number one ranked Central Washington's success this season, is its big D. The Wildcats lead the nation with just under twelve points allowed per game.
Also, Central is third in Division II in total defense entering the second round of the D-II playoffs.
C-WOO taking on Tarleton State, whose no match for Cole Morgan's passing attack. This toss 48 yards to Jordan Spevak, and you can see the electricity on the Wildcats sideline, as they take the lead 7-3.
Now on the ground, Randall Eldridge plows his way through traffic for another Wildcat score, his first of two on the day.
Eldridge putting the wild in Wildcats, the only thing standing between him and the end zone are his shoe laces. You know my mom always to me to tie those sneaks up before playing. He does not fail to bounce it in though from close range.
CWU wins 27-6. Senior Cole Morgan was impressed with his defenses stellar effort, even if he didn't see all of it. "I tried to...they are really special to watch. Also, I go against them everyday...I got a pretty good idea if I 'm not watching...what's really happening on the field. They've made us a lot better...and I like to think we've made them a lot better as well."
The Wildcats take on Missouri State this upcoming Saturday at home.
