CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. -- A Yakima man crashed his car into a creek and left his passenger trapped inside. It happened outside of Dryden around 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
Troopers say Joel Barajas, of Yakima, was driving too fast on Highway 97 when he drove off the roadway, went 20 yards down an embankment and ended up in Ruby Creek.
Barajas was booked for hit and run injury collision. The passenger, whose full name was not released, had neck and shoulder injuries.
