Kellen Moore Wins WAC Offensive Player of Year

BOISE, Id. -- The Boise State Broncos and Prosser grads Kellen and Kirby Moore are hoping another trip to the Fiesta Bowl means another big party for the Broncos just like when BSU beat Oklahoma in the bowl game in 2007.

Kellen Moore is already celebrating with WAC Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors. Moore threw for over 3,000 yards and 39 touchdowns.

On Saturday night though, Kellen was watching Texas and Georgia Tech football with his Dad and legendary prosser coach, Tom Moore in the hopes that wins by both teams would keep the Broncos in the BCS bowl hunt.

"It was really stressful because Boise really knew that if a couple things had happened, if Texas had gotten beat, and Clemson had beat Georgia Tech, they probably would have been out playing in a non-BCS game, which really would have cost them about $17 million," said Tom. "It was a very stressful night watching those games on TV."

Fortunately, both Texas and Georgia Tech came out on top.
