SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Zags had a dramatic rise into college basketball's top 25 but have fallen back to earth as of late.
The Zags' stunning loss to Wake Forest on Sturday dropped them in both national polls. GU slipped to #21 in the AP and 22 in the coaches poll.
The Bulldogs know they have to hit the boards better if they want to get back to their usual winning ways.
"We just need to take a day off," said Gonzaga Head Coach Mark Few. "It's been a hard week and then we need to get back, obviously we need to get back to spending some time on rebounding. That's hurt us these last two games. It was a strength of ours a week ago and low and behold, it has hurt us in these last two games."
