WEST RICHLAND, Wash. - Over 800 local middle school students got the day off Tuesday. Enterprise Middle School staff in West Richland came into the building Tuesday morning and realized they didn't have power or heat to parts of the school. With temperatures near zero degrees outside, classrooms were quickly losing heat. The decision was made to cancel school and arriving parents and student were asked to go home. Crews were able to restore power to the building later in the morning. School staff expects the school to be open Wednesday.
