Who needs sleep?  The Americans are never going to get  Well not until the finish off Swift Current Sunday night.  The Ams capping off four games in five nights at home against the Broncos.  Tri City has won the last three meetings against the visitors.

Any takes for number four?  Maybe Santa who is in the holiday spirit is.

First period, Tyler Schmidt laid out by Jordan Peddle.  Kruise REddick will have none of that in his house.  You want a fight you got one now.  The two tangle and earn a trip to the box.

I wonder how this future broadcaster called that fight.  Never too early to get in front of the camera.

Back to the action in the second period, the Ams on the power play.  Neal Prokop right on the door step cannot send it home.

On that same power play, Brendan Shinninmin off the wrap around opens the flood gates.

Ams win by a final of 6-2.   Tri-City really had to fight through exhaustion playing four games in five days.

Goalie Drew Owsley after the game said, "Yea I mean I'm tired...but that's part of this league.  It's a pretty tough grind...and tough schedule...and you know you just  got to battle through that kind of stuff."

Head Coach Jim Hiller said, "It was tough...but I thought we skated pretty well throughout it all.  With the exception of these last 20 minutes...and I'm not about to say it's because we're tired.  I think we got a little soft mentally...and that slowed us down.  But I thought thru period one thru period 11 we were very very good.  I didn't see any signs of fatigue."

The Americans have off until this Friday when they travel to Everett.
