YAKIMA, Wash. -- A man suspected of attempted murder is now also wanted for apparently robbing a bank.
Yakima Police are looking 21-year old Aurelio Venegas who allegedly stabbed a sleeping victim in the 1300 block of Fairbanks Avenue just after 9:30 pm Sunday.
They now also suspect Venegas of robbing the downtown branch of Central Valley Bank. They say he gave a note to a teller that demanded cash. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and then left on foot. Police say he was last seen walking west on Yakima Avenue.
Venegas is described as a Hispanic male, about 5'5" tall with a small build and a mole on the left side of his face. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and baggie jeans.
If you know where Venegas is, call Yakima Police. They say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
