KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-City Americans at Everett Friday but Thursday night they gave some helping hands to the Boys and Girls Club.
Americans players were at the US Cellular store in Kennewick, trying to impress their fans and seeing who could build the best gingerbread house while raising money for the Club.
Some players had better skills than others but the #1 gingerbread house went to Ams Forward Brooks Macek and Abigail Bimentel.
"It's pretty cool, a lot of people showed up," said Macek. "It turned out really well. Everybody's working hard on the gingerbread houses, having fun with the kids. It is just a good time."
The winning gingerbread house maker won a $50 Target gift card.
