Kennewick Police Department uncovers murder for hire plot
KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-City Metro Task Force has uncovered a murder for hire, according to a release from the Kennewick Police Department.
Police say an informant tipped them off to the plot, where Soloman Luke Swanson, alias "Cowboy" had solicited the murder of a witness for an upcoming drug trial. The Drug Task Force used this information for an undercover investigation where they contacted Swanson. According to police, Swanson then solicited the murder of a witness. This took place at near Kennewick Avenue and Morain Street Monday night.
Police are looking into additional witnesses involving this case. Kennewick police would not release Swanson's criminal record, at this time.
