Three-time Cancer survivor had dance party in the street

KENNEWICK, Wash;-- A Kennewick woman beats cancer for a third time, and to celebrate, family and friends came to her house today to dance in the street.

Three time survivor Cleda Galioto entered a radio contest titled "A Christmas Story" and the essay she sent in included her history regarding the difficult fight against cancer. Out of about thirty entrees KONA chose her as the winner. This afternoon the radio station awarded Cleda a two hour jam session filled with Christmas music outside her home.

"We decided what the heck, we're going to bother the neighbors and dance in the street on Christmas," Galioto said while catching her breath after dancing a few songs with her husband. "That's what we're doing today and I was lucky enough to win so that I could have all my friends and family over. It's a good day."

Family and friends have danced in the street, come rain or shine, every time Cleda has been declared cancer free, but though they all say it is an exciting experience, they hope after the third bout with cancer this will be the last time they do so.
