Snow hits Central and Eastern Washington, more on the way
Updated: Monday, December 28th -- 10:35 A.M.
Snow continues to fall for some areas in Central and Eastern Washington. Right now places in and around the Tri-Cities are seeing light snow and it will keep going for another hour or two. Elsewhere it is starting to taper off. We expect total snow accumulations to be anywhere from a trace to two inches.
Another storm system is brewing off in the Pacific and is set to move in late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. This will likely give most locations an additional trace to two inches of snow.
Before we end the year it looks like Mother Nature is going to hit us with one more round of snow. We are watching a storm system that will move in late New Year's Eve. This has even more moisture with it and there is the possibility the lowest elevations could see several inches of new snow.
We'll keep an eye on it for you and take each round of snow one at a time.
